Governor Bello exports APC thugs from Kogi into Ondo State

PRESS RELEASE

BUSTED – KOGI STATE GOVERNOR RELOCATES HIS OPERATIONS TO AKURE

It has come to our attention that the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello has commenced arrangements to relocate the machinery of his operations to Akure the Ondo State capital, 6 days to the guber elections.

You will recall a video which went viral recently where a chieftain of the APC, Mr D I Kekemeke told the world that the governor of Kogi State and Federal might would be brought to Ondo State in order to influence the governorship elections scheduled to take place on 10 October 2020.

We have information from very reliable sources indicating that over 200 rooms have been booked with hoteliers in Akure by Yahaya Bello this weekend, ahead of the elections which are now 6 days away. Unless Bello is planning to relocate his government operations to Akure, what other legitimate reason would he have for booking this number rooms, at 2 or 3 guests per room, if not to accommodate the APC thugs who are being rumoured to have been recruited to come and disrupt the governorship polls.

We put hotel operators on notice to be extremely weary of customers you give your rooms to during this period as you may find yourselves harbouring these engaged in criminal activities.

We therefore alert the general public and the appropriate security authorities and law enforcement agents to this worrisome development

Being aware that INEC are doing all they can to provide as free and fair election as possible, it will be a travesty if security breaches allow any undesirable elements to infiltrate Ondo State to perpetuate any illegal activities that may truncate the smooth conduct of elections. We encourage security agents to beam their searchlight over Sun view hotel, Akure where we are informed some of the recruits have been lodged.
