IDANRE CONGRATULATES PIUS AKINYELURE

As Nigerians from all walks of life continue to celebrate the appointment of  former Director of Wema Bank, Odua Investment Ltd and West African Portland Cement Plc, Chief Pius Akinyelure, on his appointment as Chairman, Board of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), His Imperial Majesty, Oba (Dr) Frederick Adegunle Aroloye, Arubiefin IV (JP) OFR, Owa of Idanre Kingdom and paramount ruler of Idanre Land   has congratulated Chief Pius Oluwole Akinyelure on his recent appointment as the Chairman of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC), describing the appointment as well deserved, heartwarming and a thing of joy for all Makanres.
Oba Aroloye,  when reacting to the news  saw  Chief   Akinyelure’s appointment by Tinubu administration  as a  justification  of  a sterling qualities and excellent performances that makes him a role model and mentor worthy of emulation  in Idanre Kingdom, hoping that  Idanre will surely  benefit from  his appointment .

Also, a  socio-cultural organization in Ondo State, the Idanre Development Assembly (IDA), in the same vein has extended its felicitations to the high chief, describing him as a phenomenal leader in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
In a letter signed by its President-General, Chief (Dr) Anthony A Omolola, IDA said it received with pride and honour, the declaration of Akinyelure as Chairman, Board of NNPCL with effect from December 1, 2023.
Noting that the appointment has been richly merited, IDA said it was a clear demonstration of President Bola Tinubu’s acknowledgment of Akinyelure’s sterling contributions to the NNPCL and its Board over the years and his track record in Nigeria’s oil and gas industry.
It added: “The appointment, celebrated across board, is indeed one of the best made by President Bola Tinubu.

“We are delighted about it and fully persuaded that it will lead to a massive, positive turnaround in the affairs of the NNPCL Board.”
IDA beseeches almighty God to grant the appointee the wisdom with which to excel in the lofty assignment.

Also in the same celebrated mood, the staff and executives of Idanre Media Network (MajoTv) headed by Sir Folu Olamiti congratulated the proud son of Idanre Kingdom for making Idanre community proud and wished him successful tenure in the office, hoping that this appointment with be a blessing to Nigeria and  entire Idanre kingdom in particular.
