GOVERNOR MIMIKO MOURNS AKETI WITH ONDO STATE PEOPLE, VISITED AYEDATIWA

Former Governor of Ondo State, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko paid a state visit to the newly elected Governor of Ondo State, Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa today at the Presidential lodge of the State House, Alagbaka Akure with the purpose of paying the last respect to his friend and colleague at the University and former Governor of Ondo State Arakunrin Odunayo Oluwarotimi Akeredolu who died on the 27th of December 2023.

Among the entourage that accompanied Former Governor Mimiko his former Chief of Staff, Dr. Kola Ademujimi, his political associates, friends and former cabinet members across the three Senatorial Districts of Ondo State including  Hon. Joseph Akinlaja, a former Member of the House of Representatives,  Hon. Dayo Awude, Engr. Gboye Adegbenro, Hon. Taye Afilaka, Commissioner for Regional Planning, Prince Boye Ologbese, Commissioner for Justice, Sir Charles Titiloye, Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Dr. Mrs Olubunmi Oshadahun.

Governor Mimiko reinstated that governance in the circumstance in which Ayedatiwa found himself is very challenging. He prayed that the Good Lord will stand by Ayedadiwa at all times. “We will continue to remember the Akeredolu family in our prayers. Thank you for receiving us” he said,” Only God can explain what had happened. Aketi lives on because of the legacies he has left behind. He pursued his conviction with great courage. He stood for the truth.”

Governor Lucky Orimisan Ayedatiwa promised the continuation of Aketi legacies for good governance in Ondo state.
