The flagbearer of PDP in Ondo State gubernatorial election, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede has expressed willingness to accommodate all those having genuine interest in his candidature, regardless of their party affiliation.

The PDP gubernatorial candidate further buttressed this point while addressing the stakeholders’ session at the PDP secretariat in Akure,  that his candidature is not for Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) alone.

He is of the view that it is not acceptable to alienate certain segment of the society, while seeking their total mandate in the course of his campaigning process.

He charged the stakeholders to embrace the needed transformation by operating an open-door policy and accommodate willing voters for PDP in Ondo State.

In his own words, Eyitayo Jegede said:

“Once you get back home, open your doors and accommodate all those who genuinely show interest, irrespective of their political parties.

“As you must have noticed with the coming on board of Accord Party, many are still on their way; they will meet us in peace and together we shall march on to victory,” he enthused.

“The primary is over, and whatever happened before and during the process is over.

“Regardless of where individuals worked and the different aspirants we all supported, the PDP is now one.

“Let’s go back home where the work is, to bring out the votes and in the next few days, the structure that will represent the yearnings and aspirations of members to get the job done up to the unit level, will be announced.”

Finally, the PDP Governorship candidate, Eyitayo Jegede urged party members, elders  and all stakeholders to bond in unity regardless of who they worked for in the pre-primary election era, to achieve the transformation needed for the people of Ondo State.
