Third force will only bring disgrace without any added value to PDP, pleads for resolution-Senator Akinyelure

Distinguished Senator Ayo Akinyelure of Ondo Central made a plea to all aggrieved members of PDP in Ondo State and Ondo Central in particular to shelve sheath after the PDP party primary election and embrace peace in other to win the forthcoming Governorship Election.

In his own words through his Media Aide, Senator Akinyelure pleads for peaceful resolution as follows;

“Let me use this medium to congratulate our great party, the largest party in black Africa, the PDP, for the just concluded free, fair, credible and transparent primary election that produce Barrister Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) as the flag bearer of the Party. I also want to congratulate all other contestants for their steadfastness and show of sportsmanship displayed after the primaries.

He also continued that  “I want to appeal to all Party loyalists and stakeholders in all the 18 Local Government Areas of Ondo state to bury their hatchets and rise up to the challenges of working together as a team member to produce the next Governor of Ondo State.

“As the adage goes, that charity begins at home, my special appeal goes to political stakeholders of Idanre Local Government to quickly engaged in true reconciliation as strongly advised to ensure that we all stand strong for PDP in the forthcoming election. There is nothing to share in zero. Third force will only bring disgrace without any added value to our political future.

 Let us come together and move PDP forward, with a view to winning the October 10 Governorship Election.

 The flag bearer, Barrister Eyitayo Jegede (SAN) has promised all-inclusive governance if elected. Therefore, let us rise up to make this dream a reality. The Deputy Governor, His Excellency, Hon. Agboola Alfred Ajayi, no doubt, has brought additional value to the party and should therefore be accorded great respect and recognition for his contribution to our great Party within the shortest period he came back to the party. The flag bearer has been strongly advised to set up a true reconciliation committee in consultation with party stakeholders to reach out to aggrieved members of the party to stand strong for PDP to produce the next Governor of the State.

“Let me also use this medium to appeal to all members whose vehicles were damaged on the day of the primaries conducted in the Dome. It will interest you to know too that my vehicle was also damaged but what can I do other than to accept the way God has destined it to happen.

“Finally, I strongly appeal to Dr Omotayo Dairo, Dr Kola Ademujimi, Hon Festus Akingbaso, Hon Kayode Akinmade, all Party stakeholders in Idanre to please close ranks and let us work and jointly engaged in true reconciliation to move our party forward. 

“Once again, I say big congratulations to our party and urge all to remain strong with PDP as victory shall be ours in the forthcoming Governorship Election”, the statement concluded.
