Adegoke Berates Akeredolu’s Performance

…as Mrs Jegede assures traders of soft loans

Second Republic Commissioner for Information in Ondo State, Chief Segun Adegoke, yesterday said that the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration of Governor Rotimi Akeredolu had failed the people, and as such, should be voted out.

Adegoke gave the charge in Ondo town, while speaking at a meeting with the Akwa Ibom Community in Ondo West local council, convened by Mrs. Eno Jegede, wife of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) governorship candidate, Mr. Eyitayo Jegede (SAN).

The septuagenarian, who is a member of the PDP Board of Trustees, said the people of the state had had enough of
setback brought to socio-economic development of the state in the last three and half years.

“I admonish you all to vote out the incumbent governor come October 10, this year, as he has failed the people of the state.

“I urge you to vote wisely and also encourage your neighbours to do the same, as things cannot continue like this.

“While it is lamentable that the APC government in the state has not fulfilled its many pre-election promises to the masses, the people-oriented programmes of the PDP have also been cancelled by the Akeredolu government.

“So the time has come for us to choose whether to remain where we are or move forward,” he charged.

In her address, Mrs.Jegede enjoined all, especially the women, to mobilise support for the victory of the PDP, which is set to restore the Mother and Child free medical services cancelled under the APC administration.

“Apart from that, the PDP is going to provide quality and affordable education, and let our business men and women have access to soft loans, to boost their businesses,” she assured.
